What is Data for Good Exchange?

Access to data is crucial for empowering communities. It enables informed decision-making, promotes transparency and accountability, fosters participation and empowerment, facilitates planning and resource allocation, and drives innovation and development. Although available, data is often siloed and primarily serves singular purposes, with limited incentives for wide sharing. This often results in vulnerable individuals being left out of important conversations, including those related to data access, awareness, and participation in creating localized solutions. 

The Data for Good Exchange initiative aims to break down these barriers and promote inclusive access to data.
