With an MD from the University of Manitoba and a doctorate from Johns Hopkins, he held multiple roles, including chairing the Department of International Health. He's globally renowned for his work in improving health systems, especially in low- and middle-income countries, focusing on vulnerable populations. Dr Peters' extensive leadership experience enriches York University's Faculty of Health during a critical period of global health transformation. |
Gayatri Nair Lobo is Member, Board of Directors, Artha India and is the Chief Executive Officer of the ATE Chandra Foundation. She has over 20 years of strategy consulting and development sector experience, having worked most recently CEO of India School Leadership Institute (ISLI). Before joining ISLI, Gayatri was at Dalberg Advisors and prior to that the Chief Operating Officer at Teach For India and was part of the scale up of operations during its first six years. Gayatri has also previously worked at OC&C Strategy Consultants and Avalon consulting, working with clients across sectors. Gayatri has a Masters in Management Studies and a Bachelors in Commerce from Mumbai University. |
Neera Nundy is the Co-Founder of Dasra, where she leads Dasra’s ecosystem-building initiatives in the areas of Adolescents, Urban Sanitation, and Democracy & Governance and facilitates collaborative platforms by engaging donors, non-profits, government and other stakeholders. Neera holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and is an Indian Leadership Fellow with Anantha-Aspen Institute. She is a recipient of the Canadian Governor General’s Medallion for her dedication to addressing India’s critical development challenges, and the Forbes Philanthropy Award in the Crossover Leaders category. |
Rajiv is responsible for the growth of Bloomberg’s financial products business in South Asia. He has spent 15 years consulting financial institutions on their technology needs. Rajiv has completed his MBA from the Macquarie Graduate School of Management, Sydney. |
Sanjay has more than 30 years of diverse and global experience across corporate and societal development sectors. Since 2016, at EkStep Foundation, he is leading the evolution of Societal Thinking, an innovative method to resolve complex societal challenges with speed, at scale, sustainably. He advises multiple social entrepreneurs who are applying Societal Thinking in domains such as, but not limited to, climate action, education, gender equity, healthcare, justice, and livelihoods. This includes large scale systems change initiatives supported by Co-Impact, a global philanthropic collaborative. Sanjay catalysed ShikshaLokam, a Societal Platform focused on developing leadership across the education system in India. He advises startups supported by Fundamentum, a scale investment fund, The/Nudge Institute, a not-for-profit incubator and accelerator, and Edumentum, a not-for-profit incubator focused on education. He is Chair - Innovation Advisor Board at Unleash, a global design lab for Sustainable Development Goals, and Advisory Board Member at Sparks & Honey. |
Safeena is the Founder and Board Member of Educate Girls (EG), an Indian non-profit working towards empowering communities for girls’ education in some of the hardest-to-reach villages. Under Safeena’s guidance, EG has enrolled 1.1 million+ girls to date, impacting over 15.5 million+ beneficiaries. A London School of Economics graduate, Safeena worked extensively with underserved communities in South America, Africa and Asia, before returning to India. Her efforts to bridge the gender gap in education in India has been instrumental in EG achieving a major global milestone – the world’s first Development Impact Bond in education. |
Swapneel has 15+ years of experience working at the intersection of data, technology and operations management. He works closely with clients to implement agile data re-engineering processes. Swanpeel serves as the Director of Goalkeep, an organization dedicated to working with its clients to ensure consistent utilization of data in informing decisions and tracking the achievement of intended program outcomes. Vandna Ramchandani is the Head of Corporate Philanthropy for Bloomberg LP in Asia Pacific. She has more than 20 years of experience in the financial services industry, having held leadership roles across various departments in Bloomberg. Prior to her role in HR and Philanthropy, she was Global Data manager for Asia Pacific and the Middle East, managing a cross-cultural team of over 250 people. She is a member of Bloomberg Singapore office committee since 2011, which she chaired until 2015. She is a frequent speaker at conferences on leadership and professional development. Inclusion, local leadership, as well as mentoring young woman are topics close to her heart. |
