Session I : Data Journeys - Pathways to Success The D4GX India Empowerment Challenge had a noble goal in mind: to seek out and support top data-led innovations that could empower vulnerable communities and enable them to take control of their lives through data-driven programs. To achieve this objective, the co-facilitators of the session, Swapnil Shekhar and Kadambari Anantram, both esteemed leaders in their respective fields, came together to lead a session that aimed to create awareness and promote insights dissemination around the challenges and successes of using data to create agency and empowerment for these communities.

Session II : Empowered Communities in the Digital AgeIn today's world, data has taken center stage in decision-making. It has revolutionized the way we acquire and share knowledge, conduct governance, run businesses, and interact with each other. However, individuals have largely been passive producers of data or incidental beneficiaries of others' use of data. With this in mind, Priya Ajmera, Chief Evangelist of Societal Platform, facilitated a session that aimed to examine the role of data in decision-making by governments, markets, and civil society over the past decade.

A panel, consisting of Rekha Koita (Co-Founder, Koita Foundation), Rukmini Banerji (CEO, Pratham), Swapnil Shekhar (Co-Founder, Sambodhi), and Neera Nundy (Co-Founder, Dasra - Moderator), came together to explore the power of data in creating transformational change at the ecosystem level.
